Take Care Health Systems is seeking a positive and upbeat Full Time Health Fitness Specialist to work as needed at our state of the art employee wellness center. The Health Fitness Specialist is responsible for opening/closing procedures, monitoring the exercise floor, general orientations and membership renewal appointments, personalized exercise programming, fitness testing, and group fitness instruction. Additional responsibilities include assisting the wellness center manager and staff with programming and administrative tasks.

Job Title: Health/Fitness Specialist Reports to: Senior Project Manager Position Summary: Primarily responsible for participating in all daily fitness center operations in order to ensure optimal performance of the Fitness Center. General Purpose: Exercise leadership; customer relations; quality and safety assurance Role Qualifications: • Must partner with fitness team and related departments to provide optimal performance of the Fitness Center to meet the needs and satisfaction of client. • Must address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution. • Must execute safe and effective fitness services. Position Responsibilities: • Provide “Best of Class” customer service to all Fitness Center members according to PFHS Exercise Leadership and Customer Service Standards. • Provides exercise leadership expertise in the areas of supervised workouts, fitness testing and prescriptions and group exercise instruction according to the American College of Sports Medicine, Exercise Testing and Prescription 6th edition guidelines (fitness testing and exercise prescription), AFAA(for GEC) and PFHS Exercise Leadership and Customer Service Standards. • Continuous upkeep of in-house facility duties as listed on quality assurance audit plan. • Assist PFHS team in implementation of strategic program and marketing plans. • Assist the site manager with monthly reporting statistics. • Ensure compliance to equipment preventative maintenance schedule. • Assist in the establishment and on-going coordination of the membership database/adherence program. • Perform other related duties as assigned by the site manager.
